ReplyDeleteToday we went to the mad-house and it was interesting trip in historical place. We saw many beautiful things that they used it in the past for kitchen, bedrooms, restaurant, and dead people. I don't like to read about history but this place had a lot of things that make me change my mind. Especially for places that a lot of people live in and they like one world like the mad-house. I want to take a trip around the world and see more places like this one and learn about the history in it.
Mahmoud!I am glad you enjoyed the trip. I see you learned about a lot of things Today, It seems to me that you really liked the mad house. What was it about the mad house that drew your attention? What are some of the beautiful things you saw there? I agree. it is a beautiful and interesting, Adventurer Mahmoud!

DeleteYesterday we went to the mad house. I have never think about going or visit place like this. It's historical place and it has historical things which they used them in the past.
ReplyDeleteWe took a tour inside the mad house and I saw some interesting thing an old sweeper, old stove and some amazing picture. I felt awestruck when I saw The fingers of a woman which was cutting by her husband. Also, I like the small house with a few rooms some students afraid when we arrived but for me it's fabulous place.

ReplyDeleteIt was an amazing trip.We were explored a historic museum in our area and we learned a lot about ( wood county ) in the past.I was amazed when i saw the tools for the kitchen especially the stove because it is too old.
I love the wall colors in the museum.
I like the story of the man who cut his wife's fingers , and i was surprised about the story !!
i don't like the mad house ,because it was empty and this house for ghosts only !

Historical places can give us a lot of lessons and it can showed us the past in a great way

Yesterday we went to the mad-house. I like that house. It has a lot of things of equipment and clothing that they used people in northwest Ohio in the past. Also, in that house there is many storys about people in the past and their job at house. We saw many beautiful things that people used it in the past such as kitchen, bedrooms, restaurant, laundry, and irons. I like to visit some thing like that because I like to know about old life, but I don't like read about it since I don't like read books.

DeleteYesterday in our history class, we went to the Wood Country Historical Museum. Which was one of the interesting place that I encourage every one to go and see. I like many history things in the place and especially how did they entertain themselves.
ReplyDeleteThen we went to the madhouse I was not afraid when we went to the madhouse, but one of my friends was really scared and that made me a little nervous because she was holding my hand and she does not want to go inside!! We laughed a lot when the guys intentional imitate the ghost voice to scare her. She was scared, but then she stated to laugh.

It is really dangerous place to visit ..
I really like what Rayan says about the historical places when he said "Because it's historical place, and there is many people used to live there it's not for ghosts". Because it's happen that a lot of people think about places like the mad house that it has ghosts. I hope people stop thinking about the historical places like that anymore!!

DeleteI did not know that Bowling Green has a historical museum before I visited. The buildings looked old but they had very interesting history. Especially, two rooms in the asylum were like a jail. Moreover, I found Korean stuffs ,which came to the united states during Korean War, in the military history room. The curator's explanation was great, so I could understand the history. It was astonishing that Americans used metal and machines very well. I talked about the historical museum with my host mom after came back home.

DeleteThe Wood County Historical Museum war one of the most interesting Museums i ever saw. It was a two floors house. even though the Museum was small, it had a lot of things that i never saw in any other Museums. Every room had it own stile. Outside there ware an old madhouse. When I went inside the weather was so cold and the smell was stinky, it war creepy.

"I did not know that Bowling Green has a historical museum before I visited" me ether Heungrok Oh i was surprised when I went there I didn't ever think that Bowling Green is Great place like this until I took this class.

ReplyDeletethe greatest thing I have seen in this museum was the military office, it has many pictures of officers also it has clothes that made of wool to keep them warm during winter :)
